A stronger apology
對唔住 (deoi3 m4 zyu6) is for a real apology after a meaningful mistake. For a small bump, brief interruption, or getting past someone, 唔好意思 (m4 hou2 ji3 si1) is lighter.

How to pronounce it
Read deoi3 m4 zyu6 as three syllables, then hear it as one fixed apology rather than trying to build it from its literal meaning.
